Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse - Telemetry Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Med/Surg Telemetry for a 13-week contract assignment in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including monitoring vital signs, assessing patient conditions, and administering medications.
  • Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor heart rhythms, identifying and responding to changes promptly.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other RNs, to deliver a comprehensive care plan.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and wellness.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (preferred)
