Responsibilities

  1. Deliver prompt and efficient care to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, with various medical emergencies.
  2. Perform comprehensive triage assessments, initiate appropriate interventions, and closely monitor patient response.
  3. Administer medications and treatments, including emergency procedures and life-saving interventions.
  4. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Effectively communicate with patients and their families during stressful situations, providing compassionate support and education.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
  7. Stay current on the latest advancements in emergency nursing practice.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: ASN or BSN Degree
  • Experience: 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure in Idaho.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
