Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Internal Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in Minot, North Dakota. As an Internal Medicine Physician at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical conditions affecting adult patients.
You will work closely with patients to develop personalized care plans aimed at promoting health, preventing illness, and managing chronic diseases. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improving patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Perform thorough patient histories and physical examinations to assess health conditions.
- Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Create tailored treatment plans, taking into consideration patient preferences and evidence-based guidelines.
- Manage Chronic Diseases: Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions through ongoing care and assessment.
- Collaborate with Specialists: Work with specialists as needed to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care.
- Provide Health Education: Offer health education, counseling, and preventive care services to patients and their families.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree: Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification: Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Licensure: Hold a valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Clinical Skills: Demonstrate strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
