Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care in alignment with established healthcare standards. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will deliver care within the scope of Registered Nursing practice.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of one year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit within an acute care setting.
Education and Licensure:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required unless waived by the nursing executive council.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory, with recognized accrediting bodies including ACEN and CCNE.
A valid California Registered Nurse license is essential.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association are also required.
