We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Grove Bay Hospitality Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Proven track record of leading kitchen teams and achieving exceptional food quality and service standards.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
