Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a Therapist or Therapist Associate. This role involves providing assessments, psychotherapy, and group therapy for adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health symptoms.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients' mental condition through client information review, interviews, observation, and collaboration with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in meeting their treatment goals.
- Use evidence-based treatment approaches to provide quality care to assigned caseloads.
- Modify treatment interventions and approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients' status and every 6 months.
- Submit billing and related paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Maintain professional licensure(s) required and cooperate with third-party credentialing for billing purposes.
- Maintain up-to-date client and program records, submitting notes for services within 24 hours.
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of records related to clients' treatment.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a similar field.
- Licensure in Maryland as an LCPC, LGPC/LGMFT, or Resident in Counseling may be considered.
- The ability to work remotely.
- Evening and/or weekend availability.
- At least 3 months of experience providing telehealth and a strong comfort level with technology.
- Accountability and collaboration are essential for this role.
- A passion for working with diverse communities.
- Good written and oral communication skills and good organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and insurance billing.
- Experience with speaking engagements, workshops, and facilitating trainings.
- Licensure in multiple states, specifically DC, MD, and VA.
Compensation:
This role offers an estimated annual salary of $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
