Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Global Air Power US. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling steel panels, doors, and supports, as well as performing quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately assemble products.
  • Utilize handheld tools such as rivet guns, hand-held screws, and drill guns.
  • Perform work for loading and/or unloading parts on the powder coat line.
  • Identify product defects and complete documentation when defects are identified.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Safely execute daily production, quality, and on-time delivery requirements.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly at each shift.
Requirements
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' previous manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required (e.g., spreadsheets, data entry, email).
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand basic engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
