Job Description:
This role supports the Human Resources department, handling a variety of day-to-day tasks to assist with HR policies, procedures, and programs. Supports specialized areas like employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, training, and development.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately maintain physical and electronic records of new hire paperwork, training, attendance, disciplinary actions, leave of absence, and applicant tracking. Update HRIS data as needed (i.e., address, internal transfers or promotions, pay changes, etc.).
• Assist in coordinating meetings, trainings, and presentations, preparing reports for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Create HR-related communications and update electronic platforms to facilitate HR communication.
Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ year of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in this role.
• Solid written/verbal communication skills for effective internal and external interaction.
• Firm interpersonal and customer service skills to handle sensitive situations tactfully.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and apply learnings in HR practices, policies, and regulations.
