Job Title: Dean of Graduate Studies

Join Tiffin University as a Dean of Graduate Studies and lead our Ph.D. program to new heights. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our graduate programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to maintain quality and consistency in our graduate programs.
  • Oversee the recruitment and admission process for Ph.D. students, ensuring a diverse and talented pool of candidates.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to develop and teach courses, as well as provide guidance on research and academic matters.
  • Ensure that all Ph.D. students receive adequate support and resources to succeed in their programs.
  • Work closely with the Enrollment Management Area and Graduate Admissions to promote our graduate programs and attract top talent.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance our graduate programs and reputation.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in graduate education, applying this knowledge to improve our programs and services.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field with a strong academic background and research experience.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in academic settings, with experience in program development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
