We invite applications for the position of Senior Java Engineer with Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the architecture, development, and upkeep of Java-centric applications, emphasizing scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Develop and refine RESTful APIs utilizing advanced frameworks such as Spring and Groovy.
  • Engage in front-end development using Angular.
  • Employ Struts, JSP, and MVC frameworks to create modular and maintainable code.
  • Leverage expertise in JPA and Hibernate for effective database interactions and data modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and execute high-level architectural strategies.
  • Integrate and enhance messaging solutions utilizing Active MQ.
  • Utilize AWS services, including Lambda functions, for scalable and serverless application development.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for efficient cloud resource management.
  • Configure and optimize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Develop comprehensive unit tests using Mockito JUnits to ensure code quality.
  • Interface with MySQL databases for advanced query optimization, performance tuning, and database design.
  • Implement and configure Splunk for log monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain high-level technical documentation for architectural and design decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical leadership.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Java Developer with a focus on advanced technologies.
  • Proficiency in Struts, JSP, Spring, Groovy, JPA, Hibernate, and REST API development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Maven, Git, JMX, and Jenkins for build automation and version control.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, including Lambda functions and Terraform.
  • Experience with messaging solutions like Active MQ.
  • Proven ability to write and execute unit tests using Mockito JUnit's.
  • Advanced skills in MySQL databases, SQL queries, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Splunk for log monitoring and analysis.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining high-level technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a development team.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with additional testing frameworks and automation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Active involvement in the tech community, such as open-source contributions or conference presentations.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
