Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Zaxby's Turner McCall in Rome, GA. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to company standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and providing excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory and storage management, including receiving and stocking incoming inventory deliveries.
  • Inform management when inventory is needed and maintain product levels in assigned stations.
  • Prepare and cook food items according to company standards, including menu items and specials.
  • Accurately assemble and package guest orders, ensuring that food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older to work at Turner McCall Zaxby's Rome, GA.
  • Ability to work 25 to 40 hours per week, including day shifts and occasional evening shifts.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and continuously use hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead.
  • Continuous use of audio-visual perception and judgment to observe and respond to the environment.
