Position Overview:
As a traveling MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while operating advanced imaging equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough assessments of patient medical histories and performing necessary screenings for procedures involving pacemakers and metallic objects.
  • Administering contrast agents to enhance imaging results.
  • Addressing patient inquiries and ensuring their comfort and tranquility throughout the imaging process.
  • Regularly inspecting MRI machinery and coordinating maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Positioning patients accurately and executing MRI scans in accordance with physician directives.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in MRI facilities.
  • Providing mentorship to junior MRI Technologists and assisting new personnel.
  • Documenting findings and reporting any issues to appropriate parties.
  • Implementing quality assurance protocols and suggesting enhancements as necessary.
Work Schedule: Weekend Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - 24 hours.

Unit Information:
1. Unit Name: Radiology.
2. Unit Description: MRI services across two locations; one outpatient and one hospital.
3. Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years.
4. Required Skills: Proficiency with Siemens Scanners, phlebotomy skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.
5. Bed Count: 395.
6. EMR System: Epic.
7. Floating Requirement: Yes.
8. Shift Rotation: Yes.
9. Certifications: ARRT, CPR.
10. Additional Notes: Coverage during rotating holidays.
