About the Job:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Specialist to join our team at Home Life, Inc. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
About You:- You must be a citizen of the United States or legally able to work in the United States.
- You must be at least eighteen years old and hold a current driving license, insurance, and a good driving record.
- You must have a high school graduate or equivalent required.
The successful candidate will provide daily living supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. You will also be responsible for facilitating community participation, advocating for individual rights, and maintaining accurate records.
Schedule:This is a part-time position working Fri-Sun 9:00p-9:00a. This shift requires female-only staffing.
Compensation:The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $48,000 per year, depending on experience.
