The Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in helping projects achieve profitability at Movu Robotics, as our customers' vision for automated storage solutions comes to life. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the President of Movu US.

Solutions: Fully automated storage solutions including pallet shuttles (Atlas), tote shuttles (eScala), automated mobile robots (iFollow), as well as ancillary systems such as conveyors and lifts.

Typical project size: 5-30 million dollars

This position involves building supplier relationships and creating business cases for strategic supplier choices. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to purchase electrical and mechanical equipment and components, with a minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing experience within an industrial environment.

Beyond technical expertise, we're looking for someone who can create benchmarks, make total cost analyses, and negotiate pricing & conditions. Additionally, they should be able to create purchase orders in SAP, process, and follow all orders within SAP.

About You
  • Proven ability to purchase electrical and mechanical equipment and components
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing experience within an industrial environment; ideally from the automation or material handling industries
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP S/4HANA) is advantageous
  • Professional communication skills to interact with clients at various levels of an organization
About the Role
  • You live in commuting distance to our office in Romeoville, IL
  • You're willing and able to travel to suppliers or project sites occasionally (around 10%)
  • Possibly travel to our headquarters in Belgium (usually no more than 2 weeks for international visits)

**Salary Range:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year
