Electrician Technician

Industrial Trade Services is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$24-$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• Prepare detailed sketches and diagrams for electrical installations, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using various tools.
• Pull wiring through conduit, assisted by a helper.
• Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
• Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
• Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, and fasten in place with crews or bolts using hand or power tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with previous years of experience in the field or related area.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Able to read and interpret instructions and documentation.
