We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Manpower - San Diego Franchise. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient functioning of our pharmacy operations while delivering outstanding patient care.
- Support licensed pharmacists in the preparation and administration of medications.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.
- Execute various pharmacy-related tasks, including inhalation therapies and intravenous infusions.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to maintain safety and prevent contamination.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology to enhance patient care.
- Deliver exceptional service to patients by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, critical care environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with hospital standards.
- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Proficient in patient care and medical terminology.
- Capability to administer medications and perform IV infusions.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient service.

Certifications and Licenses
CA Board of Pharmacy Technician license is required. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Communication Skills
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish or English/Arabic) is preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
Additional Preferences
Familiarity with the Medi-Cal Program is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy automation systems, including blister packs and robotics, is a plus.
