Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Seasonal Order Fulfillment Specialist at Next Adventure Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, maintaining a high level of quality control, and contributing to the overall success of our Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all products are properly packaged and prepared for shipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks to identify and resolve any issues with products, including tagging inaccuracies, damaged goods, and clearance items.
  • Operate pallet jacks, dollies, scissor lifts, ladders, forklifts, box trucks, and large vehicles to perform regular Distribution Center tasks.
  • Receive and verify incoming inventory shipments, comparing them to vendor packing slips and alerting managers and team leads to any discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory cycle-counts as assigned, ensuring that all products are accurately accounted for and stored in a safe and organized manner.
  • Utilize Retail Pro Functions to process orders, print tags, and update DC locations.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness, adhering to all Distribution Center safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year cumulative experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment (or equivalent)
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Forklift certification
  • Proficient in RetailPro, ShipStation, and Magento
  • Experience in order shipping and transfer order fulfillment
  • Ability to create, print, organize, and fulfill web order pick waves
  • Experience in receiving inbound shipments and performing cycle counts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as maintain a high level of frequency in other physical activities
  • Inventory management/warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with outdoor gear (preferred)
  • Experience with shipping software and services
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
