Job Overview

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Danville ENT & Allergy Clinic team. As a clinical support specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinic.

Job Summary

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. As an LPN at Sovah Health - Danville, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical support to patients under physician supervision, ensuring continuity of care and efficient patient flow management.
  2. Triage patients by phone and as walk-ins, escorting them to exam rooms and monitoring patient flow.
  3. Access computer systems for patient reports, prepare patient charts with pertinent medical information, and obtain and record patient vital signs and medication lists.
  4. Perform office procedures, assist providers with minor clinical procedures, and manage prescriptions, scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
  5. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RNs, physicians, patients, and families.
  6. Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and utilize office and lab equipment for inpatient orders and lab tests.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state required.
  • Previous LPN experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
