Job Summary

A Production Assembler in our Insulated Glass Department at MITER Brands is responsible for constructing windows in all different phases. The ideal candidate will possess one year of production experience or a related field and be able to conduct a safe work environment for themselves and the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure on-time delivery, quality, units per man hour, safety, housekeeping, and waste commitments are met and improved upon.
  • Create and execute MPS plans, meet MPS commitments, and work within the guidelines of MPS.
  • Incorporate Milgard's vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors.
  • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Two to three years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and knowledge of safe work practices.
  • Experience with prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Hand dexterity and strength.
  • Able to work overtime as required, including weekends.
