Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
  • Measure and calculate material needs, cutting and shaping lumber and other materials as needed.
  • Assemble and install cabinets, shelving, drywall, and insulation, as well as fixtures and fittings.
  • Inspect work areas and conduct repairs or maintenance as necessary.
  • Build scaffolding, erect ladders, and other construction structures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform finish and rough carpentry tasks.
  • Touch up and complete punch list items as part of the project scope.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program.
  • Proven experience as a carpenter.
  • Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
  • Punchlist experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of basic math.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible across multiple projects.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to work on a military installation and pass a background check.
