Job Title: Teacher - Afterschool

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher - Afterschool to join our team at The Educational Alliance Inc. As a key member of our After School program, you will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality educational programming for children in grades K-5th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute weekly lesson plans using a provided template
  • Design and deliver 40-minute-long enrichment activities for groups of up to 18 students, incorporating After School values and seasonal themes
  • Collaborate with fellow Teachers, Group Leaders, and Inclusion Program Manager to ensure a cohesive and inclusive program
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with elementary school-age children
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Professional-level experience in a field related to education or the arts
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
