Job Summary

This role is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST) to execute variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. The successful candidate will provide legendary customer service, interact with customers and team members, and maintain visual merchandise standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  2. Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
  3. Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
  4. Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain visual merchandise standards.
  6. Perform store-specific measurements.
  7. Complete store layout initiatives.
  8. Perform accurate counts for store inventories, as well as cycle counts.
  9. Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
  10. Complete store price changes accurately and in a timely manner.
  11. Hang store signage, including Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers' Specials.
  12. Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  13. Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
  14. Make the customer a priority when approached and provide legendary customer service while in stores through the use of GURA:
    1. Greet the Customer
    2. Uncover the Customers' needs
    3. Recommend products
    4. Ask for the Sale
    5. Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT)
  15. Team Members may also be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

No experience is required. A High School Diploma is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential. Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal skills are required. The ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance is also necessary.

Working Conditions
  • Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise.
  • Indoor floors and outdoor lots are generally hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) with adequate lighting and temperature.
  • Work shifts vary from one store to another, but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
  • Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers and adhere to Company safety training and guidelines.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move and transfer merchandise, weighing up to 50 pounds, throughout the store.
  • Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with the assistance of proper material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
  • Ability to occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead.
  • Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
  • Ability to move throughout the store for an entire shift.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation.
  • Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required training.

  • It is essential that Team Members have the physical and mental stamina and ability to move throughout the store and outdoor areas quickly and safely.
