Job Overview

Road Ranger LLC, a prominent multi-state Travel Center organization, is on the lookout for a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to enhance its Finance Department. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role focuses on the creation and delivery of Management reports, analytical insights, and presentations required on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide insights into monthly Profit and Loss trends, preparing management reports for the board of directors.
  • Compile and analyze trend reports for weekly committee meetings.
  • Develop reports and dashboards utilizing Microsoft Power BI.
  • Actively participate in the annual budgeting process and oversee monthly budget reporting and tracking.
  • Assess greenfield investments and manage other special projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with various management levels to gather, analyze, summarize, and formulate recommendations regarding financial strategies, business profitability, and operational forecasts.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Applied Economics, or Finance.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel.
  • Programming skills are a plus.

  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical thinking abilities.
