Chief Pilot

We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Chief Pilot to join our multi-disciplinary team of operations and engineering personnel in the Remote Sensing Division of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Aeroptic Pilot Program, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and maintaining all associated pilot and currency records.

• Oversee the Aeroptic Pilot Program and ensure compliance with FARs, particularly Part 91 operations.
• Draft, distribute, and update all applicable manuals, references, and procedures, including flight operations (FOM) and Safety Management Systems (SMS) Manuals.
• Maintain all associated pilot and currency records.
• Administer biennial flight reviews (BFRs), check flights, and competency checks.
• Schedule and conduct pilot ground and flight qualification training.

• FAA Commercial Instrument Pilot Certification-ASEL.
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor-ASEL.
• 500 hours PIC.
• 100 hours High Performance.
• Remote sensing pilot experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Project.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding administrative skills.
• Live within commuting distance of KLWM, North Andover, MA.

• Aviation safety training and experience.
• Instrument Instructor-ASEL.
• Experience drafting aviation policies and procedures.
• Flight school instructor experience.
• Experience working with DoD programs.
