Job Summary:
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a board-certified family physician and faculty member to join our team in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine. As a faculty member, you will play a key role in resident mentorship, research, and scholarly activity related to Family Medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding care to patients and work collaboratively with other faculty members to help advance a high-quality Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Cover residents in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and express clinics.
- Teach residents and medical students in the provision of patient care.
- Participate in patient safety and quality project teams.
- Serve as a leader and role model for residents.
Requirements:
- MD/DO degree
- Arkansas Medical License
- DEA Certificate
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in family medicine teaching/practice
