About the Role

Foster Farms is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and adjusting all refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the ammonia refrigeration system and related equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with our Process Safety Management Program.
  • Perform routine maintenance on ammonia compressors, air system drying equipment, and air system controls.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations, USDA guidelines, and plant rules.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Able to pass Hazmat physical and Pulmonary Test yearly.
Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility, as you may need to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts, including 10:30pm-7:00am overnight shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
