Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boom Truck Operator to join our team at Great Lakes Petroleum. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a Boom Truck to deliver tanks to our company-owned sites and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload tanks in accordance with company and government regulations.
  • Operate trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and state/federal laws.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required by company policy.
  • Perform miscellaneous service duties, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items on a daily basis.
  • Complete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established company procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
  • Previous Boom Truck or Crane Operator experience preferred.
  • Pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
  • Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
  • Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
  • Excellent customer service demeanor.
  • Availability to work weekends, if necessary.
