This role presents a unique opportunity to engage in diverse daily responsibilities, collaborating with various treatment teams and community partners to enhance the healthcare experience for underserved populations.
The Nurse Practitioner will be involved in:
- Assessing patients' overall health and delivering routine medical care.
- Prescribing and managing medications while educating patients and their families about treatment plans.
- Referring patients for further medical evaluations or laboratory tests as necessary.
- Working alongside behavioral health teams to develop personalized treatment strategies.
- Administering buprenorphine and coordinating with the mobile MAT clinic team for effective dosing.
- Ensuring timely and client-centered documentation and charting.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing or Nursing Practice with a specialization in Family Nurse Practice.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from ANCC or AANP.
- Valid Registered Nurse and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licenses in Washington.
- DEA registration.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Background in behavioral health treatment.
