We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician to join our team as a full-time independent contractor. This opportunity is open to 2025 EM residents.

Position Details:
  • Full-time independent contractor position
  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7a - 7p, 7p- 7a, 11a-11p, 11a-9p
  • 68 Physician hours
  • 39 hours of APC coverage, may change with volumes
Volume:

Approximately 72,000; new ED will support 90,000

Very busy ED, must be able to do 2 to 3 patients per hour, 4 pod system

Fast Track available

State-of-the-art facilities with 47 ED treatment spaces, including trauma and behavioral health rooms

Level III Trauma Center, cardiac center, and primary stroke center with top-notch specialty support

Ideal for someone who wants to live in the area. Syracuse is 1 hour away.

Requirements:
  • Board certified/board eligible ABEM, AOBEM, or ABIM, ABFM with ED experience
