We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our multispecialty group in Northeast Maine.
### Practice Details
* 7 Internists, including 5 Hospitalists, and 8 Family Practice physicians
* Hospitalists provide 24/7 inpatient coverage
* Telephone triage system for after-hours calls
* Specialists available in urology, orthopedics, sports medicine, general surgery, ophthalmology, and hematology/oncology
### Growth and Opportunity
Our practice is experiencing growth due to retirements and an influx of new residents and families in the area. We are also supporting the growth of local industry, including the Defense Financing and Accounting Service (DFAS) and the Maine Military Authority.
### Work Schedule
* Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (option) or 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (option)
* Weekend hours provided at the Health Center
### Patient Profile
Our patient population includes a large cohort of elderly patients with co-morbidities.
### On-Call Rotation
Traditional position with approximately one weeknight every 4 weeks assisting hospitalists, infrequent back-up required on weekends.
