Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat individuals with speech and language disorders, including problems with sound production, understanding, and communication.
- Assess and treat cognitive, behavioral, and motor speech skills, as well as conversational skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each consumer.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including physical, occupational, and cognitive therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document consumer progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and training to families and caregivers on strategies and techniques for supporting individuals with brain injuries.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and attend training and workshops as needed.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Current eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move consumers with physical needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic to moderate technology skills, including proficiency with electronic medical records.
