Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physician to join our team at Physician Empire as a psychiatrist in Missouri. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient psychiatric services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy.
- Participate in inpatient call, sharing responsibilities with other providers on a 24-acute care bed unit and 8-med psych bed unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and nurse practitioners.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field.
- Participate in telepsychiatry services for regional locations, expanding access to mental health care for underserved populations.
- Call Requirements:
- Every 4th or 5th weekend
- Holiday rotation (1 summer and 1 winter holiday each year)
- Weekday evening call, one night each week (6pm-8am)
- Expected Inpatient Volumes:
- 8-12 patients for weekday coverage
- 12-16 patients for weekend coverage
Requirements:
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current licensure in Missouri
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong clinical skills and experience in psychiatric care
