Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Clinical Lab Scientist II, you will conduct clinical testing in various areas including:
- Blood bank
- Chemistry
- Serology
- Hematology
- Urinalysis
- Coagulation
- Special chemistry
- Microbiology and manual tests.

If that resonates with you, consider becoming part of our esteemed institution. You will perform automated, semi-automated, and manual procedures in bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, coagulation, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology.

According to established procedures and policies, you will:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments.
- Interpret results regarding their accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.
- Organize work to meet established deadlines and document all data obtained.
- Collaborate actively with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care and assist with regulatory compliance.
- Train lab personnel and perform in-charge assignments in the absence of a manager.

Qualifications:
- Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license per CA State Board.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- At least five years of acute care hospital experience.
