About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Psychiatric Institute of Washington. As a Registered Nurse PRN, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health and addictive illnesses
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications
  • Current license to practice nursing in District of Columbia (or eligible to receive or renew)
  • Previous psychiatric, behavioral, or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
  • ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred
  • Candidates must meet the company's hiring criteria to include a pre-employment verifications, background investigation, and drug test
