Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Kindred Healthcare. As an RN on our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients through the delivery of exceptional, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop effective plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Handle With Care certification within 90 days of hire.
