Position: Radiologic Technologist II - Orthopedic Clinic and Surgery
Shift: Full-Time Days, Monday-Friday
Incentive: $10,000 Student Loan Repayment Program
As a Radiologic Technologist at LaFollette Medical Center, you will be integral in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our Radiologic Technologists benefit from a comprehensive compensation package that includes competitive pay, health insurance, 401k, flexible scheduling, and 100% reimbursement for licensure and certification, tuition reimbursement, along with up to $10,000 for student loan payments.
Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
- Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiological examinations and produce radiographs (x-rays) to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
- Ensure patient safety by minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Follow established guidelines and instructions to execute job functions, working under direct supervision.
- Utilize creativity and independent judgment as necessary while typically reporting to a chief technologist or manager.
