Job Title: Addiction Counselor I

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Addiction Counselor I to join our team in Dover, DE.

About the Role:

We are committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment to individuals impacted by substance use and mental health disorders. As an Addiction Counselor I, you will play a vital role in our treatment team, working closely with patients, families, and medical staff to achieve positive treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services to support patient treatment plans
  • Lead therapy groups and provide individual therapy sessions for SUD and mental health disorders
  • Develop and deliver educational presentations on behavioral health and recovery
  • Collaborate with medical staff and treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Consult with family members and referral sources to coordinate patient care
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive electronic health records
Qualifications:
  • Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills
  • Engaging and accountable approach with patients
  • Flexible and creative team player
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in SUD field, with group treatment experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records and various recovery modalities
  • Knowledge of recovery modalities, including SMART Recovery, Women for Sobriety, and 12-Step
