About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Pallet Sorter to join our team at 48forty Solutions and Relogistics Services. As a Pallet Sorter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our warehouse operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and stacking pallets to the correct height, loading and unloading materials from trailers, and moving pallets or materials around the storage facility. You will also be responsible for checking loads to ensure they are secure, examining products to verify quality standards, and utilizing yard management systems to coordinate trailer moves.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sort and stack pallets to the correct height
  2. Loading and unloading materials from trailers
  3. Moving pallets or materials around the storage facility
  4. Checking loads to ensure they are secure
  5. Examining products to verify quality standards
  6. Utilizing yard management systems to coordinate trailer moves
  7. Completing production paperwork with accuracy
  8. Communicating with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in lumber, welding, construction, carpentry, roofing, landscaping preferred
  • Good math, language and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skills
