Job Title: School Psychologist

Foundations Educational Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Kingman, AZ.

Job Summary:

The School Psychologist will be responsible for measuring and interpreting the intellectual, adaptive, academic, social, and emotional development of children. They will interpret results of psychological studies, apply state and federal codes, and develop strategies and interventions to address the special education needs of eligible students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and agencies to plan educational and therapeutic programs.
  • Recommend educational and psychological remediation through psychological tests.
  • Interpret and analyze assessment results to inform instructional programs.
  • Prepare written assessment reports for each student evaluated.
  • Participate in IEP teams and reviews.
  • Conduct re-evaluations on Special Education students.
  • Develop school services promoting positive mental health and effective learning environments.
  • Initiate referrals to Mental Health Services when needed.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs.
  • Collaborate in master schedule planning for the special education program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Master's degree
  • California Credential authorizing the performance of psychological services
  • Administrative Services Credential (Preferred)
  • ADE School Psychologist Certification
  • Graduate degree from NASP-Approved School
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Card

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
  • Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
  • Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
  • The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
