Responsibilities
  • X-Ray Technician Duties:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms, and provide verbal instructions to ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
  • Operate radiologic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance according to examination specifications, taking x-rays that meet established requirements.
  • Maintain radiation safety measures, protecting patients and team members from radiation exposure.
  • Ensure all Radiology workflows follow facility protocols, reporting any equipment malfunctions or issues.
  • Document patient information accurately, following established procedures.
  • Maintain x-ray equipment, adhering to calibration and QA/QC standards, record-keeping policies.
  • Medical Assistant Duties:
  • Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs and ancillary testing as needed.
  • Support providers during exams and treatment, applying bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered.
  • Dispense medications and DME, maintain supplies, clean rooms, and equipment, stock exam rooms.
  • Notify supervisors immediately of equipment issues or supply needs, assist with patient flow and volume management.
  • Keep patients informed of expected wait times, perform front office duties, answer phones, and distribute employer results as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education and Certification:
  • High School Diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, and certification by the state of employment.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold active certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least six months of medical assistant experience, working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, and prior medical office experience.
Estimated Salary Range

$54,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
