Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Yes, license required
Certifications: BLS, Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T) verification
Must-Have: Experience with Varian equipment
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist patients on and off the treatment table.
- Support role for starting and stopping the beam/treatment.
- Manage two scanners/rooms with an average of 40-45 treatments per day.
- Utilize EPIC and Aria software for operations.
- Work under the guidance of a Radiation Therapist lead.
- No need to float or cover additional areas.
- No requirement for starting IVs.
- Radiation Physician is available in-house.
- Minimal weekend requirements and no holiday requirements.
- No on-call or standby obligations.
- Scrub color: Black.
- Participate in one shift of unit/department-specific orientation.
