Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Critical Care Technician to join our Clinical Decision Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll provide high-quality patient care and support our multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and mobility assistance.
- Perform technical duties as directed by a Registered Nurse, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, and Foley catheter care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
- Meet the qualifications and certifications outlined below.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of an unlicensed healthcare provider/technician program.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
