Job Summary:The GI Registered Nurse will provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the treatment process. You will work closely with our highly trained physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
Responsibilities:- Assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
- Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
