About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ambercare Home Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
  • Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide Education and Training: Teach patients and their families new skills and techniques to help them manage their conditions and improve their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Program: Must have a degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • Registration and Licensure: Must be registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association and hold a valid license to practice in the state of New Mexico.
  • Experience and Skills: Must have at least two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
