Curana Health is seeking a skilled Physician Specialist in Geriatric and Post-Acute Care to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive geriatric and post-acute care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and injuries in geriatric and post-acute care settings.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical and/or cognitive impairments and disabilities.
  • Determine and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, and changes treatment plans, as necessary.
  • Provide adaptive tools to improve the overall health and physical functioning of patients.
  • Counsel patients and their families and helps them adapt to lifestyle changes.
  • Provides support and advice to patients that receive long-term care.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of employment.
  • Certification by The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
  • Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress).
