Physician Assistant Home Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our home health care team in Port Republic, Maryland. This is a unique opportunity to provide top-notch medical care to adults and geriatric clients in the comfort of their own homes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive physical evaluations, creating personalized treatment plans, and providing ongoing care and support to clients. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, current conditions, and treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Provide hands-on medical care, including wound management, injections, and other procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques, medication management, and other essential skills.
- National certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Current licensure in Maryland or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a PA in a home health care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
