Medcor is seeking a highly skilled EMT or Paramedic to fill the role of Onsite Health Technician at our client's construction site in Council Bluffs, IA. This part-time position requires a strong ability to work collaboratively with medical and operational leadership, as well as local medical providers and client staff.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborative Work: Work closely with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, and client staff to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- Patient Care: Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence-Based Medicine protocols.
- Case Management: Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) programs and monitor treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.
- Communication: Provide superior customer service to Medcor's client and employees, and build strong internal team relationships.
- Valid Licensure: Possess valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
- CPR/BLS Certification: Hold current CPR/BLS certification.
- Physical Ability: Be strong enough to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive and outgoing personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Construction Environment: Be comfortable working in a construction environment.
- Computer Skills: Have experience with EMR software and be proficient in computer skills.
- Emergency Medicine Experience: Possess experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
