Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our growing pediatric service in Utica, NY.
Job Description:We offer a great work-life balance with a week on/week off schedule. Responsibilities include coverage of a 7-bed inpatient pediatric unit, emergency department consultations, shared coverage of the newborn nursery with neonatology service, and education of medical students and family medicine residents.
No delivery attendance or NICU coverage. Our pediatric service is supported by pediatric-trained speech, occupational, and physical therapies, pediatric-certified echocardiographers, and lactation consultants. Neonatology consultations are available in-house, and other pediatric sub-specialties are available from a tertiary center in a nearby city.
New Wynn Hospital is now open and combined the two local hospitals within the Mohawk Valley Health System. We continue to grow our residency programs within the new hospital.
Compensation and Benefits:Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 pay based upon experience
