The Challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Database-related activities, including Data Modelling, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and maintenance of Entitlements. This role requires a strong background in RDBMS/SQL, experience with ETL Processes and Data Engineering, and a proven track record in implementing Data Quality measures and entitlement models. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven and motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage requirements tailored to each audit project, providing results that can be used to inform auditors on sample selection, control gap identification, completeness of data sources, and data integrity.
  • Design and build production-ready analytical tools to automate repeatable and reusable processes within IA using reporting tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Qlikview.
  • Execute data analysis activities, including procedural or programmatic tasks related to the analysis, extraction, transformation, and uploading of data (structured and unstructured).
  • Perform data analysis activities supplemented by summarized technical narratives describing the integrity of specific automated controls.
  • Write data analysis code using languages such as Python, Java, or Slang.
  • Identify areas for process standardization and implement automation techniques in applications used for audit process and Data Analytics.
  • Collaborate with audit teams to identify risks associated with businesses and facilitate strategic data sourcing and develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness of audit testing.
  • Build and manage relationships and communications with Audit team members.
Requirements:

You are:
  • A 3+ year experienced Data Modeler with a minimum of Bachelor's in Computer Science, Math, or Statistics.
  • Strong experience in RDBMS/SQL.
  • Exposure to ETL Processes and Data Engineering.
  • Experience in implementing Data Quality measures and entitlement models.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • A self-driven and motivated individual with a proven track record of taking initiative to improve processes.
