Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to identify and address potential security threats and hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and complaints, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Provide customer service and support to patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
  • Special State Police license preferred.
  • BLS, CPR, and First Responder certification required within 120 days of hire.
  • MOAB certification required within 120 days of hire.
Working Conditions

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. The ability to lift 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions is also required.
